Press: Jaap's IDM birthday EP out now

The Papathemelis Law, introduced in Greece in 1994 by then-Minister of Public Order Stelios Papathemelis, aimed to regulate nightlife by imposing strict closing hours on entertainment venues. Bars and clubs were required to close at 2:00 AM on weekdays and 3:00 AM on weekends to address issues of noise pollution, public disturbances, and accidents associated with late-night activity. The law sparked widespread backlash from young people, business owners, and workers in the nightlife industry, who viewed it as oppressive and harmful to the economy and tourism. Despite protests and satirical responses, the law was gradually relaxed over the years. Today, it remains a notable example of the tension between conservative values and modern cultural attitudes toward nightlife and entertainment.
