News: Incirrina unveil Mutate, the first single from upcoming album Trace

Greek dark electronic duo Incirrina have released the official video for “Mutate”, the first single from their upcoming album Trace, scheduled for release in spring 2026 via Cold Transmission Music.

The track continues the project’s exploration of atmospheric darkwave, coldwave, and minimal electronic soundscapes, blending hypnotic rhythms with shadowy synth textures. With its brooding mood and cinematic pulse, Mutate offers an early glimpse into the sonic direction of Trace, a record expected to expand Incirrina’s immersive and introspective sound.

Incirrina — the creative partnership of Yiorgos Katsanos and Irini Tiniakou — composed and performed the music, while the lyrics were written by Konstantinos Londos.

The accompanying video amplifies the song’s mysterious atmosphere. Directed and filmed by Alexis Falantas and Fani Maria Chatzi, the visual piece combines stylized performance and carefully crafted imagery. Falantas also handled editing, color grading, and lighting design, while Chatzi oversaw costumes, set design, and makeup, giving the video its distinct dark aesthetic.

Sound recording and mixing were completed by Dimitris Dimitriadis at Zero Gravity Studios, with mastering by Anestis Psaradakos at Athens Mastering.

“Mutate” is now available digitally, while fans can already pre-order the upcoming album Trace through the band’s Bandcamp page ahead of its spring release.

With this first glimpse, Incirrina reaffirm their place within the European darkwave landscape, delivering a track that feels both haunting and hypnotically modern.
